As we are urged to practice social distancing consequently, we are confined to the four walls of our homes. Through these tough times, we must not let uncertainty get the best of us. Let’s keep our mental and psychosocial health in-tune. Here are some ways to keep them in check during this crisis.
1. Breathe in Positivity
Slow down from your daily hustle and take time to breathe mindfully. Practice meditation to clear your mind and notice your presence.
2. Get Outside
Being indoors could bring a sense of confinement. Go out to your backyard, front yard, or your balcony, get some sunlight, and breathe a fresher air. Watch people walk by and watch the stretched movements of the surroundings.
3. Enjoy a Good Laugh
Whether it’s by watching a funny TV show or a movie, or talking to a friend, a good laugh is always a great way to change your mood and spread the good vibes.
4. R&R
Get some Zzs. Have a full 7-8hrs a night, or take some naps. It will bring back the energy and you will wake up with a clearer mind.
5. Vitamin C(are)
Last but not the least, let go. Be kind to yourself and pat your back for saving lives by staying in, and handling things with grace.
