Last November 14, 2019. Discovery Suites had a colorful Manhattan-themed Tree Lighting Ceremony to mark the start of Christmas in the property. Welcoming the season with much festivity, the property opted for an intimate gathering at the hotel lobby with some of their long staying guests and partners. Guests were treated to some cocktails and canapes while they were serenaded with Christmas carols by the ADB Chorale.
As Christmas is coined as the season of giving, Discovery Suites honored their long-lasting tradition of giving back as well during the Tree Lighting Ceremony.
The property alongside Waves for Water has been working hand in hand to give an Aeta community in Capas Tarlac access to clean drinking water. Last year 60 water filters were installed in the said community and this year the team was finally able to raise enough money to install to water tanks as well. A check was then awarded to Mr. Carlo Delantar, Country Manager of Waves for Water by Ms. Janice Tiambeng, General Manager of Discovery Suites and Mr. Jun Parreno, President of Discovery World Corporation to conclude the program.
