Christmas is finally here and folks are all for hosting the warmest, most memorable holiday gatherings with family and friends. If you’re hosting one yourself, here are some tips that will not only help you notch your feast, but most importantly, help you have a real good time.
- Send out invites ASAP.
Christmas parties and gatherings are here and there in December, so it’s best to send out invites ASAP while everyone’s calendars are not yet full. That way, you get more chances of seeing your friends and relatives that you would love to catch up with.
- Decorate your living room.
Although good company is what matters the most, it would be nice to add a Christmas feel to your place. You don’t have to decorate the whole house, just the living room would do. Put up a tree and let some lights dangle around the room and you’ll end up with instagrammable pictures.
- Skip the cooking.
Unless you have a personal chef to cook all the food at home for you, you’d want to spare yourself from all the time pressure and onion tears. Pick your phone up and order a sumptuous party-platter that’s ready to serve. Then, all that’s left to do is add some final holiday touches to your spread.
- Keep everything self-service.
When your guests arrive, show them around and let everyone know where everything they might need is—drinks, hot sauce, and bath room. That way, you can focus on catching up, laughing around, and taking pictures
Christmas is indeed the most wonderful time of the year, as it’s not every day we get reunited with our closes friends and family. So make it count, and look forward to hosting an even better holiday gathering next year. Happy Holidays!
